Austin, Colorado’s Snow Capped Cider picked up seven golds and a total of 14 medals to capture the Midsized Producer of the Year at the 2026 Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP) and lead the way for American cideries in the 20th annual event.

Oregon’s 2 Towns Ciderhouse won Large Producer of the Year with 4 total medals, winning gold for its Sled Zeppelin Sweet Fruit Cider, the most entered category with 104 entries.
Colorado’s Haykin Family Ciders won three medals, including gold in the Spirits division with its Akane Eau de Vieto win the Small Producer of the Year.
A gold for its Rosé earned Wisconsin’s The Cider Farm the Micro Producer of the Year award.
Norway’s Alde Sider was named International Producer of the Year while Annapolis Cider won the Canada Producer of the Year.
In all, judges tasted over 1,100 commercial and noncommercial entries from across the world.
