Tieton Cider Works has been growing and blending fresh pressed apple cider for nearly two decades and has joined forces with Washington State University to produce an Officially Licensed Product that will be landing on store shelves throughout Washington and at GESA Field for Cougar football games.
“Craig and the Tieton team have been great to work with and we’re excited to bring Cougar Crisp to all Cougs,” said Jon Haarlow, Vice President and Director of Athletics.
Much like some of our favorite apple varieties, Tieton Cider Works’ co-owners are a Coug Nation breed. Farming fruit since they were children led them right into the apple farming vocation as postgraduates and later the re-interpretation of Cidermaking.
“This just makes sense for us, my family is third generation Cougs and organic apple farmers in the Yakima Valley; when we started 19 years ago cider was new and now we get to collaborate with my alma mater, cider has really come a long
way,” said, Craig Campbell, Orchardist and co-owner.
Tieton Cider Works makes award-winning ciders as farmers first, growing, pressing and packing their own creations just this time with an identity that represents their legacy; “Once A Coug, Always a Coug.”
